Asterisk Zero Configuration Service
The Asterisk Zero Configuration Service (AZCS) provides assistance with automating the configuration of telephone handsets in a LAN environment, even when different brand handsets are in use. AZCS effectively provides the equivalent of Plug and Play for connecting SIP phones to an Asterisk PABX.
Once AZCS is installed adding a phone to your Asterisk PABX is as simple as plugging the phone in. The phones configuration is controlled by a phone manufacturer specific settings file which is held by AZCS. The configuration file gives you control over ALL of the phone manufacturers specific configuration options.
If a handset is removed and re-attached to the LAN, it is automatically recognised and assigned its original settings. The AZCS provides significant savings when adding or moving handsets as it requires no administrative intervention nor does it require skilled support staff to be involved.

- Maximum of 5 handsets and 1 brand of SIP Phone: $Free
- Maximum of 50 Handsets and 1 brand of SIP Phone: AUD$350+GST
- Licenses for additional handsets* can be purchased for: 50 handsets AUD$250+GST
- Licenses to support multiple brands of SIP phones: Per SIP phone brand AUD$100+ GST
- Unlimited Version (Unlimited handsets and SIP Phone brands): AUD$1500+GST
GST is only applicable to Australian businesses and residents.
