Noojee Click for Asterisk is a free Firefox extension which turns phone numbers on EVERY web page into 'Click to Dial' links.
Noojee Click is designed for organizations running an Asterisk PBX. Noojee Click works by scanning pages looking for phone numbers as you surf the web. When Noojee Click finds a phone number, it adds a small 'Noojee Dial' icon just after the number. You can then click on the 'Noojee Dial' icon to dial the phone number.
Phone number recognition is controlled by a set of simple patterns which you set via the Noojee Click configuration panel. This allows you to localize the set of recognized phone numbers.
Noojee Click is great for sales staff using a Web based CRM or just anyone who makes lots of calls from numbers displayed in a web page.
If you like Noojee Click try Noojee Receptionist, the only Asterisk application designed specifically for receptionists. Includes support for multiple receptionists as well as basic Presencing.
Once installed Noojee Click for Asterisk adds the Noojee Click icon into the Firefox status bar. Left click on the Noojee Click icon in the Firefox status bar to access the Noojee Click menu. From the menu you can dial any number, dial a number contained in the clipboard, configure Noojee Click, enable/disable Noojee Click and force Noojee Click to refresh the set of Noojee Dial icons; which can be handy if you have a page which updates dynamically.
When you click the Noojee Dial icon to dial a phone number, the call progress is displayed in the Status bar next to the Noojee Click icon.
