Noojee Vision
Noojee Vision is the internal code name for Noojee Telephony Solutions Asterisk presensing application.
Noojee Vision will untimately provide end users with control over their telephone and provide a single management point for all end user functions in Asterisk.
Noojee Vision will incorporate the following key areas:
- Handset operation
- Address Book
- Conferencing
- Faxing
- Presensing
- Voicemail
- Chat
- Agent authentication & Queue statistics
Noojee Vision is scheduled for release in the 4th quarter of 2008.
Handset Operation
Noojee Vision will allow a user to answer a call directly from their computer screen via the Noojee Vision interface and then perform operations such as transfering a call or putting it on hold.
A user will also be able to mark their phone as Do Not Disturb and configure call forwarding options.
Address Book
Noojee Vision will allow a user to maintain an address book from a central database with shared access from Noojee Receptionist.
Conferencing
Users will be able to create a conference call by dragging address book entries to the conference tab. Noojee Vision will allow users to automatically invite participants to the conference via email as well as scheduling a conference.
Faxing
Noojee Vision will be integrated with Noojee Fax to allow viewing of archived faxes as well as faxes queued for transmission. Noojee Vision will also act as the front end to the forth coming Print service for Noojee Fax which will allow a user to fax any document which can be printed.
Presensing
Noojee Vision will display status information on all handsets in the organization as well as allowing individuals to set their current status to values such as 'Unavailable', 'In Meeting' or 'On Leave'. A receptionist will also be able to set any users presence information from within Noojee Receptionist.
Noojee Vision will also be able to pull presence information from Microsoft Exchange integrating 'Meeting' information into Noojee Vision's presense information.
Voicemail
A user will be able to configure their voicemail settings and recordings as well as retrieve voicemail via the Noojee Vision interface.
Chat
Noojee Vision will provide a enterprise chat facility based on the built in address book.
Agent authentication & Queue statistics
Agents will be able to login/logout/pause/unpause into call Queues as well as viewing queue statistics such as the number of calls currently in a Queue.
