Noojee Provision provides assistance with automating the configuration of telephone handsets in a LAN environment, even when different brand handsets are in use. Noojee Provision effectively provides the equivalent of Plug and Play for connecting SIP phones to an Asterisk PBX.
Once Noojee Provision is installed, adding a phone to your Asterisk PBX is as simple as plugging the phone in. The phones configuration is controlled by a phone manufacturer specific settings file which is held by Noojee Provision. The configuration file gives you control over ALL of the phone manufacturers specific configuration options.
If a handset is removed and re-attached to the LAN, it is automatically recognised and assigned its original settings. Noojee Provision provides significant savings when adding or moving handsets as it requires no administrative intervention nor does it require skilled support staff to be involved.
